I hope you liked what you saw on PATENTED.NETWORK. I am a lawyer, a registered Indian Patent Attorney, Founder-Director of IP Crafters Advisory Pvt. Ltd. (PATENTED.NETWORK), and SimSim Advisory Pvt. Ltd., a law and patents firm.

After M.Sc. in Laser & Plasma Physics from Mumbai University, I completed my M.S. from Ohio State University, followed by a teaching stint at Lake Tahoe Community College, California.

Professional life was set with Physics, until one evening Legally Blonde* happened to be playing on television. I am not blonde, and I wasn't even a fan of the movie, but life being the way it is, I decided law, and not physics, would be my career focus.

I enrolled myself at I.I.T. Kharagpur in 2006 and left the campus in 2009 with an LL.B. specializing in Intellectual Property Rights in one hand and my first born in the other. Productive years indeed.

Stints at Pangea3, a U.S based legal process outfit and Legal Excel were followed by the birth of my second child, and a spell at W.S. Kane & Company, Mumbai where I took charge of the patents and trademark infringement cases as well as patent filings and other matters related to IP

I completed my LL.M. in Corporate Law from V.M.Salgaocar Law College, Panaji, and skilled myself with an advanced certification in patent valuation from Business Development Academy, U.S.A.

In my corporate law, patents and trademarks career, I have settled trademark disputes against Amazon (U.S.T.P.O.), handled trademark advisory and prosecutions in the U.S. and India, filed patents and trademarks for Indian and International clients, and drafted technology transfer agreements.

I am an advisor to Goa University on IP matters, and have co-authored papers on “Comparative Studies Between U.S., E.U. and India” and on Patent Valuation.

I run PATENTED.NETWORK and SimSim Advisory while pursuing my Ph.D. (Finance) in Valuation of Intangibles from the Department of Management Studies at Goa University.

I love writing, reading, and the great outdoors. Baking too. And the occasional movie on T.V.
